Born in Italy. Built in KC.

I'm djDarko. Born in Italy to a Ghanaian family, raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Which is a long way of saying my crate never sat in one lane: Afrobeats, reggaeton, R&B, house, all of it earns its spot.

I started on weddings in 2017. Two hundred-odd events later I can MC a room and get the shy half of it dancing before the salad plates are cleared. Then came the lounges and clubs across KC. That's where music stopped being a service and became the thing I chase.

Good music is the difference between the best night of someone's life and just an average Friday.
